The Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Crime Reduction Project is a three year project funded through the Safe Communities Innovation Fund. The project is delivered in Pincher Creek, Piikani Reserve and Crowsnest Pass. The goals of the program are to reduce the number of persons with FASD from reoffending and repeating interactions with the criminal justice system. The project also works to reduce criminal involvement and strengthen protective factors among persons with FASD and their caregivers. This is achieved through intensive care management; wrap around supports; and through building caregiver and community capacity.
