The Evergreen Parent Link Centre provides a variety of FREE programming and resources for families with children age 0-6 in our indoor play area and resource centre. Families may attend any of our drop-in playgroups, support groups and parent information sessions while connecting with other parents, resources and agencies. Our friendly staff is available to assist families with questions or concerns and will assist in connecting with the appropriate resources.

The Evergreen Parent Link Centre provides a variety of high quality community based programs accessible to ALL families.

Services Provided

Hurray For Play: This play group runs weekly and is a great way for caregivers to meet new people and have their children play and learn with others.

Baby And Toddler Buzz: A play group for caregivers and their children to explore baby and toddler developmental activities.

Music and Me: Caregivers and their children will participate in songs and rhymes having fun playing instruments, singing and dancing!

Messy Art Hour: Families will enjoy participating in a variety of different arts and crafts!

Popcorn and Parenting: Sessions include guest speakers or parenting topics providing caregivers with valuable information. Childcare is provided by Parent Link Staff.

Creative Connections: Caregivers participate in card making or scrap booking while childcare is provided by Parent Link Staff.

Mother to Mother: A weekly Post Partum Depression Support group for caregivers who may be experiencing symptoms of depression or anxiety. Childcare provided by Parent Link Centre staff.

Bed Time Rhymes: An evening program providing an evening session of rhymes.

Date with Dad: A play group especially for the male caregivers and their children. Have fun participating in activities, crafts and special events!

Summer Programs

Power Pathways: Grab those strollers and join Parent Link Centre staff for a walk along the beautiful paths of Drayton Valley.

Celebrate the Sun: Meet the Parent Link Centre staff at a local playground to participate in activities and enjoy the sunshine!

Little Links Day Camp: A one week day camp in August for children age 4-6.

Toy and Resource Lending Library

Our lending library is a FREE resource for those looking for videos, books and toys for children age 0-6. Items may be borrowed on a two week lending basis.
